Susan Ledyard, a passionate educator with a penchant for literature and human rights, met a tragic end on July 23rd, 2019. Found lifeless in the Brandywine River just a mile from her home, Susan's mysterious last night raises troubling questions. As her Fitbit recorded activity until 7 am, authorities seek answers to the gaps in her whereabouts between 3 am and 7 am.
Susan's husband, Ben Ledyard, provided a puzzling account of that fateful night, claiming unawareness of her disappearance until authorities arrived.
Delaware : Janteyl Johnson
February 3, 2010, was a normal day for 15-year-old Janteyl Johnson. She had gone to school that day but wasn’t feeling well and decided to go home to get some rest before returning to school that evening for a few activities. Janteyl called her mom to let her know she was headed home to rest and to please call her to make sure she is up for her after-school activities. Janteyl walks less than a mile home stopping for some candy at a local convenience store. When her brother arrived at their home to pick her up later that evening, the door was unlocked with all of Janteyl’s belongings still inside. No signs of struggle and no Janteyl raised red flags immediately. Janteyl was also 5 months pregnant and not at risk of being a runaway.
