Born to Regina and Ralph Thomas, Chris was a junior at Morris Catholic High School where he excelled academically, earning praise for both his academic and athletic accomplishments. Known for his heart and sportsmanship on and off the court, he was a friend to all. On October 1, 1982, Chris’s promising future was abruptly ended when he was shot and killed at the local mall, an act that remains unsolved despite numerous witnesses and extensive investigations.
