Alaska : Erin Marie Gilbert

On July 1, 1995, Erin Marie Gilbert had a date with a man she had met about a month prior. He was taking her to the Girdwood Forest Fair for the evening.

When her date says his car wont start because of a dead battery, he asks Erin to stay at the vehicle while he goes for help. Two hours later he returned to the car and Erin was nowhere to be seen.

Erin’s date assumed she had caught a ride with someone else and phoned her house the following morning. Erin lived with her sister Stephanie and immediately Stephanie knew something was wrong when she learned Erin had not made it home.

A missing persons report was filed and an extensive search ensued, but no answers have been found.
