South Dakota : Larissa Lonehill

Approximately 33% of missing people in South Dakota are indigenous women. In 2016, Larissa Lonehill became a member of this statistic. After an argument with her sister, a conversation with her mom, and being picked up by two men to go to a party… Larissa was never seen again.

This mother of one, has had little to no attention to her case. Authorities have stated that they believe she is deceased but will not release any other information.

What happened to Larissa Lonehill?

This is yet another MMIW that didn’t get the coverage she needed at the beginning.
