Over three decades have passed since Susan Poupart was seen getting into a vehicle after a friend’s party. The 29 year old indigenous mother would be found 6 months after her disappearance murdered and left in the woods miles away from her home town of Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin.

Susan’s children are still seeking justice for their mother who was an active member of the community. Indigenous women are murdered at a rate 10 times higher than any other ethnicity.
